Could anyone recommend a good book on social history in early America?

I am reading Blackbourn's The Long Nineteenth Century: A History of Germany, 1780-1918 and it is brilliant, but I am wondering if there exists an equivalent for the US. By which I mean, a synthetic history that is a social history with strong focus on consumption, wages, labor, gender, race, and economic history. My preference would actually be a bit earlier (1770s-1810s), but any book inclusive of those dates would be good.

Eric Foner's Give Me Liberty! - If you're looking for a simple to read textbook approach then I would wholeheartedly recommend. Chapter 9 focuses the Market Revolution, with a small introductory amount of information on the subjects which you're looking at as an introduction.

Hugh Brogan's The Penguin History of the United States of America - This is also a book which I find invariably useful, which approaches the time period for various viewpoints.

Oxford History of the United States series - Volume 3 by Gordon S. Wood would likely be of particular interest as it covers your time period nicely. I can't personally vouch for this particular series but I haven't heard much negativity around them.

I hope this helps you a little bit in finding what you're looking for, even if just in part.
