What were the long-term Nazi plans for Language Assimilation?

by Cogito96

In places like France, did they eventually plan to Germanize everything, or let people keep their national dialects? And what about regional dialects, such as Breton?

I used France for my example as I presume they saw the Slavic languages as "sub-human and animalistic" in their ideology, in much the same way as they saw their people, but I believe there was always a sense of appreciation for the culture of France.

I am on holiday at the moment so I don't have access to my books to provide a reference but I do know the Germans planned to eliminate Breton. As you might be aware many Breton nationalists collaborated with the Nazis because they hated the French (many as well were in the resistance). These Bretons wanted the Germans to promote their language but the people in Berlin wanted to turn France into a totally German speaking country. During the occupation orders were printed in German on the left and French on the right.
