The National Archives just released a bunch of documents relating to the JFK assassination. Here is the link.
JFK historians, did you discover anything new or revelatory?
Anything you found exciting?
Was there anything that you were expecting to be brought to light that didn't get covered?
As a follow up question, I'd love to hear some analysis on what was redacted from the documents which used to "partially released", and why those things where left out. Is there any evidence of something to hide there? Was it done to protect privacy, or cover up something embarrassing or politically harmful?
Hi there!
Just as a reminder: These documents have just been released and contain "441 formerly withheld-in-full documents and 3,369 documents formerly released with portions redacted", so it might take some time to get an answer to this questions because people still have to read a lot of these documents and integrating them into what we know so far might take some additional time.
Thank you!
