Readers, contributors, shitposters, lend me your ears! It is my undeniable pleasure to introduce you to 3 new moderators of this fine subreddit. The ranks are being joined by
/u/freedmenspatrol, who is a wonderful contributor in the area of Antebellum US Slavery Politics and will help us keep our freedom from unsubstantiated personal anecdotes
/u/AncientHistory, who knows a lot about indescribable horrors (such as a question hitting the front page), being an expert on H.P Lovecraft and Pulp Studies
/u/kaisermatias, an authority on 20th c. Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Hockey, thus will help us check the rule breakers
Be merry alongisde us in this thread and use the opportunity to get on their good side. I shall go now, the banhammer hungers and beckons me to lift it once again.
Ancient manuscripts tell us that /u/AncientHistory will use his deep occult knowledge to summon Yog-Sothoth to inflict unspeakable eldritch horrors on the next person who posts 'what happened to all the removed comments?' in a popular thread.
I'm suddenly very interested in European Caucasus hockey
Huzzah! More hammers for the Hammer God!
SUCKERS
Wohoo!!! Welcome everybody!
Welcome, folks! The Fascist Zionist Communist Totalitarian Anarchist Redguard Stonemasons' Association is always in search of new members. :)
Yea, we have opened the casket of nightmares and gazed unto the removed posts. We know no fear for the banhammer comforts us.
So hi! :)
ONE OF US! ONE OF US! ONE OF US!
I mostly agreed because they kept bothering me to join. Figured it was easier to agree.
Welcome new mods may i present your first trial. The Lord of the Rings was a documentary filmed in real-time, discuss.
Three amazing contributors taking up modness for the glorious defence of the sub!
All hail to the new mods!
Congratulations on your new positions, and condolences to your poor liver!
All Hail the Great and Benevolent Overlords of /r/Askhistorians!
Welcome! And congratulations! Or condolences?
Welcome all new mods! As a subscriber to /r/Lovecraft its great seeing AncientHistory be inducted into the modteam here - and seeing all the Cthulhu puns he's brought about even better.
Hello to the new comment removal crew.
Will this also mean a bit more frequent answers to questions regarding Romania/Wallachia/Moldavia ? /u/kaisermatias ?
Congratulations! With all the Lovecraft references, I have to do my Canadian duty by /u/kaisermatias and say there can never be too many mods on the ice.
