What are some good books about the Peace of Westphalia?

by rodionbloom

I need to write an article about the Peace of Westphalia and wanted some book recommendations. I want books that focus mostly on the issues and aspects discussed at the congresses of Munster and Onsabruck: the diplomatic formalities, territorial negotiations, the formation of the modern international system, the short-term effects, etc. In broad terms, a book about the inner negotiations that led to the Treaty. Which books do you recommend?

There is a major disconnect between the resources on the treaty produced by international relations specialists and by historians, with the latter being dismissive of the huge importance attached to the treaty by the former. I explored this, with the key references included, in this recent thread.

Other older threads covering much the same ground can be seen here and here.
