When their tank was de-tracked, would some of the crew attempt repairs whilst under fire?

Edit: Should specify I'm asking about WW2 tank crews

Most likely not. In several cases, tanks being tracked lead to one of two things. The tank being stationary and fighting back until it was destroyed or the crew ran out of ammo or the crew skipping that and immediately bailing out of the tank. Either way when AT crews or tank crews aimed for tracks, it was likely due to the fact the tanks actual armor was impervious to their guns. A good example of this is the Russian KV series during 1941-42 where the German 37mm and short barreled 75mm were completely incapable of penetrating the KV at any range and angle, resulting in tank and AT crews aiming for the tracks to immobilize. At that point artillery and/or close air support would be called in to finish the tank off.

In these conditions, attempting to fix the track under fire would be suicide, and most crews opted to stay inside their tank or get out and make a break for it.
