What were the american battalions or divisions involved in the Battle of St. Lo directly after the invasion of Normandy in WWII?

Specifically were there any american parachute/paratrooper or airborne divisions? Did any of these participate in the initial invasion of Normandy?

Neither of the US airborne divisions took part in the Battle of St. Lo.

St. Lo was part of a larger engagement - The Battle of the Hedgerows - and the task of taking St. Lo fell to XIX Corps, of the First US Army. They initially had the 29th and 30th Infantry on hand, with the 35th coming up. I believe they also had support from 3rd Armoured.
