Within the field of public history, how much scholarship currently exists on the presentation of history in video games?

At first glance I can find a handful of articles on this subject. The universities library portal doesn't appear to yield much.

The journal of digital humanities has a few articles about it http://journalofdigitalhumanities.org/1-2/games-and-historical-narratives-by-jeremy-antley/

As does 'Rethinking History' http://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/13642529.2014.973714

Or "Historical Social Research (Vol 34): Past Futures from Re-enactment to the Simulation in Computer Games."

I feel that all of these articles tread similar ground in that there's perhaps not a large enough body of video games with a distinguished historical leaning to draw upon. This will expand in time I have no doubt given the expansion of the industry.

Personally, I always loved Fable (fantasy nonsense based in Medieval Europe)and still hope that somebody will create a similar questing game but with more historical accuracy.
