What made the Third Reich socialist?

by karsh36

From my understanding Nazi stands for 'National Socialist German Worker's Party,' which besides 'National' it has all the makings of a socialist title.

I understand that they were Fascist in their government structure like how Russia had a Communist government structure, but were they both socialist economically?

which is referenced in the following thread from 2 days ago asking essentially the same thing: https://www.reddit.com/r/AskHistorians/comments/6tdhrs/can_someone_help_me_better_understand_where/

there was nothing at all socialist about the nazis at all - they weren't left at all - just right-wing
