In Ancient Rome, would random a family name a child Caesar or was that name solely used for the Emperor?

Just a random thought I had. I know Caesar became pretty much the title and not so much a name, but . . . would a family name a son Caesar or was it off limits?

There's always room for further contributions, but you might find this recent post, by u/PatrikKlingborg, useful.

Essentially, a family couldn't name their son Caesar because it was a family name, not an individual name.
