Would you mind perhaps clarifying the question? Gaelic usually refers to speakers of the Q-celtic languages (Irish, Manx or Scots Gaelic), but the Romans never conquered Ireland or Man and the Gaelic language wasn't introduced into Scotland until the early middle ages.

Are you referring to the average Gallic tribesman (i.e. from Gaul, modern France) perhaps?
