We are unfortunately limited by the format of reddit, so if we were to leave a warning/removal reason for every removed comment, especially in more active threads, it would render the threads utterly unreadable. As such we have various rules of thumb about when and when not to do so that is intended to provide a balance between the various competing needs surrounding the issue.

The rules of the sub are clear enough that explanations really aren't needed at all.
