To what degree was the area that is now Pakistan Hellenized?

Only to a modest extent. Greek never became the dominant culture and language as you saw in parts of Egypt and Turkey. Pakistan and Afghanistan were too distant from the main Seleucid bases for the government to have much centralized authority, and the region steadily slipped into independent kingdoms. There was for a time, and Indo-Greek ruling elite who drew upon the influence of both civilizations. Greek influence in philosophy, culture and dress remained for some time. One of the most interestsing manifestations of this are the Buddha statues that can be found from this period made in a style very similar to Greek statuary.
