According to the this source, a total of 1.9 billion people served in WWII. However, I can only find an accurate number for living veterans in the United States. Are there any sources that could be used to estimate the total number of living veterans worldwide? This question has been harder to answer that I thought it would be, any assistance is greatly appreciated.
