As a highschool student, I've only learned about WWI and WWII from the point of American history books which are most likely biased. I started thinking about this in an earlier thread I saw where the Japanese WWII museum has little to no mention of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. So is there anything that we have done that is the equivalent of that (that was unprovoked)?
Might be worth clarifying what you mean by equivalent - Do you mean circumstances in which the US was the aggressor in starting a conflict? Do you want something comparable to Pearl Harbour literally or just in magnitude?
Also might be worth rewording the question, past 100 years partly falls under the 20 year rule. And A LOT of US conflict that relates to this question did happen in the last 20 years, I recommend also posting this on a political subreddit for more insight on those years.
