I'm writing a paper specifically on the division of Korea, but it seems most of my sources don't go into detail on the reason it was divided, they say "then Korea was split in two". I'm trying to go a bit more in depth with this paper than that.
EDIT: If you can direct me to other sources like certain books, journals, or websites to read more about this specific topic it would be greatly appreciated.
