Can anyone tell who is the man on the left in this image with Eisenhower? If not who, then maybe some information on rank, uniform, etc.

Guy on the far right I'm pretty sure is Mark Clark. Does that suggest 1942 or 1943 in the Mediterranean? I can't tell how many stars Ike and Clark have in this photo. That might help you date it based on when they received promotions.
