When you are talking about historiographic sources on the Middle East, do you have a specific date, region(Levant, al-Masri, Israel/Palestine, Persia, etc.) or country (Saudi-Yemeni relations, Irani-Baluchi relations, etc.) in mind? There are tons of sources and it will be pretty hard for someone to provide you any readings if you are this vague.
