Delphi City-State Layout

by J1angel3

I am currently working on homework for World History. I have to find out how the city-state of Delphi looked like, with the agora, farmland, acropolis, walls, gym, and how the terrain was. I have found all of the elements except where the farmland was, and where the agora is located.

Here are the current pictures I am using for a guide. http://6ko6ipx.dhpreview.devhub.com/img/upload/fdgrgy5tr6yr.jpg http://www.abrock.com/Greece-Turkey/delphicrd.jpg https://panhellenicdelphi.files.wordpress.com/2014/11/physical-layout-delphi.jpg http://ancient-greece.org/images/ancient-sites/delphi2/large/45.jpg

Can anyone please point me in the right direction, or help me out. :)

You can't find agriculture or the market because you're not looking at the city of Delphi, you're looking at the Sanctuary of Apollo at Delphi. The entrance to the sanctuary, for example, along the Via Sacra bounds the remains of the Roman forum structure built there later. Outside the city, Delphi controlled territory from Parnassus to Crisa, maintained separate from the Phocians by the several Sacred Wars.
