I’m currently finishing my last year of an honours history degree and I love it. I wouldn’t call it a particularly hard degree, but you have to have a passion for it. There’s a lot of research/reading and writing papers. I personally hated history in high school, but I’ve come to love studying it in university. The length of papers seemed daunting in first and second year, however now I laugh when a professor assigns a 2000 word paper. If you’re interested in it, I say go for it! It is very rewarding to study something that interests you.
