Memoirs by Japanese WWII generals/politicians?

by Comrade-Chernov

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'm in the process of writing a paper on the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and while I've found countless amazing secondary sources (including Racing the Enemy), I'm having trouble finding primary sources. Often the secondary sources will quote generals' memoirs, so I'm wondering if anyone could recommend me ones to check out, and more importantly how I can view them for free - I'm working on a budget and a deadline and won't get paid again until well after this paper is due.

Thanks in advance to anyone who may reply!

I’d recommend looking for the diary of admiral Matome Ugaki. He was a pretty significant figure in the IJN (Yamamoto’s chief of staff, battleship division commander at Leyte Gulf and then the commander of the kamikaze campaign against the USN at Okinawa.)
