What is the context of this Japanese soldiers in the picture? Is it real?

by JlamerFoe

I have been surfing around the internet and I came across this image, I would be delighted if you could provide me with some context. (If it is real of course!)

Thanks in advance!

All I was able to find was 2 social media post saying it was a Banzai Charge on Guadalcanal 1942. However, I was unable to find anything close to a reputable source and a part of me is concerned this is fake.
