Now I know that owning slaves was sort of a cultural thing between black tribes in Africa, but I would like to know if other non-white groups (like asians, indians, arabs & etc) also had african slaves at the height of the African slave trade.
Arabs and persians had large amounts of black slaves from the east coast of africa. There was the great Zanj rebellion which was possibly the largest slave rebellion in world history.
