I run an Instagram about WW2 and recently I've found it hard to stay motivated, interested, etc. I was always very interested when I had a cable channel called Military Channel with a wealth of WW2 videos and I was so pumped. Recently I couldn't afford it and had to let it go and I've slowly been loosing my passion and inspiration. I know many of you are Historians and study one thing as your living, how do you stay motivated? Any resources or tips that really helped you? Thanks- Jack.
What's up Jack, I'm a history buff as well not the Second World War, but a buff in general. I found that when I focused on one subject too long I began to lose the drive to continue researching and enjoying it. World War 2 has a plethora of different stories leading up, during, and after the war. However, my suggestion is to switch from WW2 to something else for the meantime. The Great War is a channel on YouTube that focuses on the First World War its been following it week by week since the 100 year anniversary back in 2014. Or if Europe still feels to dull, Ken Burns has a Civil War documentary the will definitely spark something in you. Good luck, TT
