When was money invented? Is that also when jobs were invented?

By jobs I mean occupations.

You might get a better answer at r/askanthropology but it eould be a difficult question to answer because it varies by time, place, and definition. It wasn't that one culture minted coins and suddenly everyone did it, in fact there were near-completely non-monetary empires until relatively recently, sort of. Money is a difficult thing to define; is contracted labor or commodity exchange money?

Similarly, the idea of occupation is somewhat nebulous, though less than money. Single or specialized occupation is widely believed to have been a result of the transition from hunter-gatherer to agrarian society, but there do seem to have bern exceptions where that didn't happen or the group was only semi-agrarian.
