Hunting Hitler/ Escape Theories

by Xenophon32

To preface: I'm not a Neo-Nazi or an admirer of Hitler in any way, one of my relatives was KIA in USAAF service in Europe.

As far as I know, no verified remains of Hitler have been found. There's plenty of speculation about Hitler escaping Berlin just before its fall, most likely to Spain or South America, what I'm wondering is if the escape theory is taken seriously by European history experts. It seems the only other explanation is that the Soviets disposed of the remains in utter secrecy and perhaps without informing their western Allies

While more can be said on this subject, /u/Georgy_K_Zhukov wrote this post about whether Hitler survived and lived a new life after the war. It primarily goes over the evidence for Hitler's death, which consists of witness testimony describing Hitler and Eva Braun committing suicide in the bunker and having their remains cremated, and later forensic data from dentists working for Hitler that showed Eva Braun's dental bridge had been recovered from the cremation pile, as well as a jawbone with teeth that were matched with description's of Hitler's teeth.
