A German News program from 1941 supposedly shows automatic flamethrowers used in the defense of Moscow-- is there any testimony as to the existence of such weapons?

The video I am referencing is this one (https://youtu.be/WBy__0sbxJ8?t=20m). At the 20:00 minute mark they first make reference to "automatic flamethrowers" as a first line of defense along the road to Moscow, and then later on actually show what appear to be fuel-holding tanks with "automatic circuits". So-- is there any information on if weapons such as that would be utilized?

Obviously there are numerous concerns, foremost that it's a propaganda film. The timing of the film, releasing in November 1941, also calls into question the exact location of the battlefield shown-- there is no hint of snow on the ground, and one would presume it would need to be significantly behind the frontline if film crews are combing over it.

Regardless, do we have any information on weapons such as this?

I don't understand, how can a flamethrower not be "automatic"? I don't claim to know anything about flamethrowers but aren't all of them continuous streams of flame until you take your finger off the trigger? What does a "semi-automatic" look like?
