So I've noticed a lot of people talking about why feudalism is an inaccurate way of viewing the medieval social and political structure, but can someone please explain why this is? I've read about medieval history quite a bit but I still don't see why the term "fuedalism" is viewed so poorly by this subreddit because, outside of this sub, I've never heard people complaining about the term.
Cheers in advance for anything you guys can tell me.
The AMA on this was excellent. /u/TheGreenReaper7 and /u/idjet aced it.
