Where could I find primary sources of newpapers covering the abolition of slavery in the US from a northern source and a southern source?

As the title says. I'm just wondering how each source covered the event.

One of the best and easiest places to get access to nineteenth century newspapers is at the Library of Congress. For most people, including me, that is a useless answer because we're not going to hoof it across the country to do spot research. But the LoC knows that and they've digitized a large collection of historic newspapers and put it online, for free. You can search by state of origin as well as by date, which makes it very handy.
