Treat them as your starting point of research then they are ok-ish. Take for example, Kings and Generals described the Jin Dynasty as "Chinese" in the Mongol-Jin War episode, which is a big no-no to anyone who has a passing knowledge in Chinese history. Jin was a Jurchen dynasty, who were the same people as the Manchu and only considered "Chinese" after they had founded the Qing Dynasty. No YouTube series could and would devote that much time to explain the nuance and more difficult, not clear cut concepts; their primary function is entertainment.
