Looking for resources on Nazi Party misuse of history

I'm getting ready to start the WWII era with a class of High School sophomores. One of the things I am emphasizing throughout the course is responsible use of primary sources and critical inquiry to cast doubt on outlandish historical claims. Basically, I'm trying to inoculate my students against the worst of Youtube-style thinking by providing some tools for them to be able to think like historians.

I'm aware of some critiques of Fascism and Nazism regarding how fast and loose they liked to play with historical fact, and I would love suggestions to go deeper into that as I prepare this section of the course. While it's about Holocaust denial, I considered using this video from Deborah Lipstadt as a student-facing resource. Unfortunately I've got to be careful, as I'm teaching in a quite conservative area and I feel I'll have more success with my students if the material I'm using doesn't take thinly veiled swipes at the President. As a result, this one is off the table.

So, is anyone here aware of a concise source to give an overview of Nazi abuses of history in their rise to power? (I'd love any longer, more in depth reading recommendations as well, for my own benefit!)

Susannah Heschel's The Aryan Jesus is a great book about Nazi misuse of NT scholarship. You can also look at P.M. Casey's article "Some Anti-Semitic Assumptions in the Theological Dictionary of the NT" Vetus Testamentum 41 (1999), 280-291.
