Hey there everyone, sorry if this isnt the right subreddit. I'm writing a paper for a roman history class and decided to do the Punic wars. Right now im currently looking for some primary sources before i begin just so that i don't screw myself over before starting, and found what i think are some good primary sources, but i don't know exactly how to access them for my paper.
Polybius, M. Porcius Cato and Q. Fabius Pictor are some names that i found while searching the web for some primary sources. the only problem is i cant figure out where to get their work to source. Could this website which is a translated version of polybius's works be used as a primary source?
Use the Perseus Digital Library from Tufts University, it is the most reputable source of Greek and Latin translations online, and is free to use. All my Ancient History professors use their translations as primary sources. Besides the primary sources mentioned above, other similar sources like Livy or Appian are also translated in the Library.
