I can imagine what combat looked like for Roman, hoplite, or medieval armies; but I only have a vague idea of combat during the Three Kingdoms period.

• What type of equipment would be the most common for soldiers?
• What is the army composition (levies, semi-professional, professional)?
• In general, are tactics going to resemble anything similar to Roman/Medieval, or are they significantly different?
• Are there any good and affordable English language books for this?
