Just google Louis XVII, you find nothing about him
You won't find much about the Bourbon Louis XVII because he was never crowned, nor did he reign. This particular Louis was Louis-Charles, the Dauphin of France and the only surviving son the Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette when they were executed during the French Revolution. The revolutionary governments took it upon themselves to care for the young boy after his parents' dethronement, imprisonment, and subsequent execution. The child was a semi-prisoner because the Republican governments feared that the young child could be a symbol for a resurrection of the monarchy as he was the only son of the executed royal family. He was too dangerous to the young Republic as a potential pretender to the throne. Louis-Charles's imprisonment and seclusion added to mystery about his whereabouts within the royalist press and Parisian gossip. The men charged with Louis-Charles's care by most accounts did not perform their duties for the child, who was not even eight when his father was executed. There was some evidence that these men abused the boy and they certainly neglected him. Louis XVII died in 1795 and added to the mystery. The government sprinted the boy's body to the Cimetière Sainte-Marguerite cemetery where there was no marker lest his grave became a shrine to royalism. The circumstances of his death also fueled rumors that Louis-Charles was still alive and there were a number of young men who claimed to be Louis XVII during the Bourbon Restoration. Louis-Charles's uncle, Louis XVIII, took the XVIII designation because he and other royalists considered Louis-Charles to have been the legitimate monarch of France until a regicide Republic executed him through neglect and then his uncle inherited the title and throne.
