Are you sure that this has changed? There are more women than men in most Christian denominations, and women are reportedly at least 10% more likely to be practicing Christians. Going to the bible, all early christian travelling missionaries were men, while it was often women who took a significant role in promoting the gospel at a local level. What evidence do you have that this has changed today?
