This might be a better question for /r/askscience or /r/AskAnthropology, particularly the latter. It's not impossible that someone here will have an answer for you, but most of the people here are mostly dealing with the recorded past. Pre-writing stuff is not a strength of this sub, though I think there are a few people who can do it.
