While Vikings were pretty active in the Southern Italy & Sicily, I haven't found any sources, that they continued with exploring the Adriatic Sea. Does anyone have any info on this?
One minor source which shows Vikings may have been active in Croatia; thus almost certainly would have had to travel the Adriatic. There is not evidence of massive viking activity in that area however.
It would appear the Adriatic region was not the frequent subject of massive viking raids , unlike the Iberian and Sicilian/Western Italian coasts however occasional travel is almost a certainty.
