On this day, 40 years ago, Italian Prime Minister Aldo Moro was kidnapped and later killed. Who is currently assumed to had done it?

Today I read about that event in various newspaper and the thread in the europe subreddit.

Officially it was done by the Red Brigades, but how true is that? I read aswell that it may was a false flag done by an anti-communist or fascist group or people that have an interest in those groups like the masonic lodge P2, CIA, Mi6, Gladio etc.
To me it sounds a bit much, but the Years Of Lead in Italy were such a shitshow that I have no idea who to really believe in this case and therefore I ask here for some enlightenment.

The authors of kidnapping were doubtless Red Brigades, but many facts confirm that this initiative was perhaps suggested and surely wide helped by many others "actors". At those times Moro was openly contrasted in his purpose to enlarge government responsability to the Italian Communist Party by USA diplomacy. His aim was to fix and stabilize it’s democratic function as an important part of Italian republic. The 1976's parliamentary elections gave to the bigger parties (Italian Communist Party and Christian Democratic Party) almost 71% of the votes (33% PCI, 38% DC). Italian economic, social and political situation was not at all good. Very strong inflation, discredit of ruling classes and politic establishment caused by some cases of corruption (two ministers involved in the Lockeed case) and by many “mysteries” connected with “strategy of tension” and the evidences about involvement of some branches of the state in it. So Moro decided to make stronger Italian democracy sharing government responsability with Communist Party. At the same times rise up a strong anti-communist secret organization, very widespread in all branches of Italian state and politic (with exception for communists), which aim was to change the direction if Italian politic development. Under the aspect of freemason lodge, this organization, named P2, founded by one of the chiefs of Italian industry, Eugenio Cefis, and directed by Licio Gelli, collect many different people. Among them: the director of the most important newspaper, Il corriere della sera, one of the most important building and media contractor of those (and following) times, Silvio Berlusconi, many executives from army forces, and police, and secret services, many politicians (including the chief of Socialdemocratic Party, which was in power since 1960-th year). The P2 was well connected with military regimes of south America and with CIA, cause many of it’s members was involved in secret anti-communist organizations, like “gladio”, created after the war, as defense in case of soviet invasion or communist win at the elections. This organization became very active, influencing many changes in Italian politics since beginning of the ’70-ies. At the time of Moro’s kidnapping, in the emergency committee ruling the researches of Red-Brigade’s “people prison” in which Aldo Moro was imprisoned, 90% of military, secret services and police executives was member of P2, that’s mean member of secret conspirator organization which aim was the defeat of Moro’s strategy. Also chief executive of phone company was member of P2, and in the district were Moro was kidnapped, in the day of kidnapping there was a strange failure of phone system, so nobody can advise police for 30 minutes after the crime. In conclusion, Moro had many powerful enemies in the Italian State and in Usa (he had very harsh discussions with Kissinger about his strategy) which direct interest was his defeat (or his death). So is not so strange, that in spite of many errors done by red brigades, no one could found Moro, during his kidnapping. About presence of P2 at the top of Italian state security in those times, many evidences was collected in different parliament commissions. Mostly in the final relation about P2 lodge, directed by mrs Tina Anselmi (Christian Democratic party).

Can I ask a related question?

"The strategy of tension is most closely identified with the Years of Lead in Italy from 1968–1982, wherein both far-left Marxist extremists and far-right neo-fascist groups performed bombings, kidnappings, arsons, and murders. Activists have accused NATO of allowing and sanctioning such terrorism, although this conclusion is hotly disputed."

Where could I find such disputes?
