Are there any theories that Gadnsk ( Danzig ) could be initially raised by Batls and not Slavs?

Do you find it likelly that Gdansk could be raised by Balts instead of Slavs? It is located right on the border of these two ethnic groups after all and we don't have any legitimate sources about origins of the city.

I have approved this question but seeing as how you correctly state that there simply aren't any legitimate sources, getting an answer to this question might be really hard.
