Hello everyone this is my first time posting so bare with me. I am graduating this semester with a BA in History and while researching career paths on here I noticed that fellow historians got a job in the IT field. This is something that I am interested in so if this is you, how did you get into the field and do you have any tips on doing so? Thank you so much!
I have a BS in History and I work in advertising operations. There was some additional learning and training certificates I obtained outside of university before I was able to take on my current title, but I never worked in an 'historical' field.
In my opinion, the greatest benefit of a history degree was creating a tool kit to be an adept 'life-learner' and I think this subreddit is a great testament to that.
