World War II movies in order?

by beefly

I recently discovered my wife has a massive gap in her education around World War II. I am determined to help bring her up to speed on what happened through movies. Documentaries won't hold her attention. Our starting point is "The Darkest Hour", which will be followed by "Dunkirk".

How do we get through the whole war only using movies?

Can I kindly get a few suggestions on what you would suggest as a natural progression through the war with some level of historical accuracy?

Any and all suggestions are much appreciated.
