I've read A Traveller's History of Mexico a couple years ago and I'm starting to get interested in Mexican history again, and would like to read something else still general but more comprehensive. However, any book you can recommend me about Mexican history that's good will be helpful to me. Thank you.
Mexico: Volume 1, From the Beginning to Conquest and Mexico: Volume 2, The Colonial Era by Alan Knight
The Mexico Reader by Gilbert Joseph and Timothy Henderson.
Course of the Mexican History by Meyers, Sheman, and Deeds.
These are good introductory books and have an accessible price (around 20 dollars).
