I’d like to try reading up on former presidents and while I understand that there are going to be differences in opinion and interpretation of their actions does anyone have a list of the “best” biographies of US Presidents?
David McCollough’s books about John Adams and Harry Truman are excellent.
My favorite is Edmund Morris’s 3 books about Teddy Roosevelt: The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt, Theodore Rex and Colonel Roosevelt.
