I was deployed to Afghanistan several years ago. When I was in the city of Khost, I came across an old fortress in the southeastern corner of the city. I've always wondered about the history of it and, for the life of me, can"t find anything online. It looked too old to be Soviet (my opinion), maybe British? Anyone know anything?
