During WWII, the Soviets famously moved a great deal of their factories east of the Urals to continue the war effort. Did this create a sustained industrial boom in Western Siberia, or were the factories just relocated back to Ukraine/Belarus after the war?

If I may ask a follow-on question about the premise: to what extent was there an "industrial boom"? That is, what sort of production came from these moved factories, as opposed to factory pieces piled up by some siding without the experts or even labor to reassemble them into factories and use them?
