I’m doing a project for a university class and the project is find ten items from a decade,(mine is the 1790s), that characterizes the decade well. The item has to be at a museum and I’m having trouble finding museums that give you access to their collection online. Help?
The met and lacma both have online collections; see their websites and the “art” or “collections” tab. In general most art galleries have at least part of the collection online. You can search by date and location or by keywords.
