What were the Native American's stories about dinosaurs/dinosaur bones?

Naturally, there is always room for more on the topic, but "how did X civilization make sense of fossils" is really popular around here, and rightly so, because it's fascinating. In this case, you may find this thread on Native American fossil-creature interactions from four months ago interesting, because there were some good comments, especially from /u/400-rabbits. But like any hemisphere-wide query, there is incredible variation, and much more to add from all quarters!
