Meta: What kind of questions would a historian ask of a contemporary witness? Is there a set of guidelines or such on what to inquire during an interview so as not to ommit any possibly interesting questions?

Short story: I visited my grandmother (90 yo, austrian); I'm in interested in history. When it came to my mind that she actually experienced the time of the second world war and before I thought I'd ask her about that time next time I see her. Only there's not specific that I'm interested in. More lof a general curiousity thing. So I wondered if there's like a spreadsheet of questions or something historians use for interviews. Or to put it more simply:

TLDR: If a historian were to ask a ww2 witness, what would be some of the questions asked?

Not to discourage any further discussion, but there was an excellent Monday Methods thread on oral history interviews a while back kicked off by u/commiespaceinvader.
