How true is the 'first person to stop applauding stalin get's killed' story?

How true is the story in gulag archipelago that that the first person to stop applauding stalin was killed (text-https://mannerofspeaking.org/2010/05/12/some-chilling-public-speaking-history/). Sure it sounds like the sort of thing that might have happened, and it's a fun story, but I've heard Solzhenitsyn is considered unreliable and biased. So a) is it true that a conference kept applauding for 10+ minutes, and the first person to stop clapping was arrested soon after
b) Is it true that people were literally fainting and being carried out on stretchers (''the district leaders were just going to go on and on applauding till they fell where they stood, till they were carried out of the hall on stretchers!'')
c)if a) is true, is it true that the man arrested was told 'don't ever be the first to stop clapping' by the interrogator? How could Solzhenitsyn possibly have known that?

A fuller answer may be along later, but I can at least point to "In The Gulag Archipelago, Solzhenitsyn describes how, during an 11 minute standing ovation for one of Stalin's speeches in the Soviet Union, the first person to stop clapping was arrested and imprisoned for 10 years. Is there any truth to this story?" at https://www.reddit.com/r/AskHistorians/comments/7vhovy/in_the_gulag_archipelago_solzhenitsyn_describes/ with replies by /u/theoryofdoom and /u/facepoundr .

But this is not to discourage further discussion. More questions, data, and debate are welcome.
