A friend of my grandmother's has been wearing this necklace for just over 50 years. Could you give some insight to its origin and symbolism?

Here is the necklace in question.

The background she told me was that one was given to her and each of her sisters from their parents when they resided in the UK. She does not know if they are each unique or identical. She hardly if ever takes it off, but is not aware of its origin or symbolism.

I recognise the fleur-de-lis but not the crest. Any insight to its origins and symbolism you could glean would be appreciated.

I had great success getting an answer for a sort of similar question on r/whatisthisthing

If I can mention heraldic terms, which might help in searching or describing it?

A crest is an item or set of items coming out of the top of a helmet in an achievement of arms, which is a shield containing a coat of arms surrounded by various heraldic fru-fru, like a helmet (and therefore maybe a crest atop that), supporters on each side, a grassy knoll on the bottom, a stylized cape, &c &c.

A coat of arms is usually on a shield, but there are plenty of examples of it being on some other shape, like a diamond or an oval.

I don't know of heraldic terms to describe the two layers in this case.
